State Lottery Funds for Education Report
Required to be Filed by September 20 Each Year
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 79-3501(6)(a) requires the following entities to complete an annual report, in the manner prescribed by the Auditor of Public Accounts, and submit such report to the Auditor by September 20th each year. The report covers the immediately preceding July 1 through June 30 fiscal year.
The following entities are required to complete this report annually:
1. Any department or agency receiving a transfer or acting as the administrator for a fund receiving a transfer pursuant to subsection (2) or (4) of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 79-3501
2. Any recipient or subsequent recipient of money through the following grant programs
3. Any service contractor responsible for managing or disbursing money through the following grant programs
This report covers the following grant programs:
1. Behavioral Training Cash Fund (through Department of Education)
2. College Pathway Program Cash Fund (through Department of Education)
3. Community College Gap Assistance Program Fund (through Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education)
4. State Department of Education Improvement Grant Fund (through Department of Education)
5. Distance Education Incentives (through Department of Education)
6. Door to College Scholarship Fund (through Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education)
7. Excellence in Teaching Cash Fund (through Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education)
8. Expanded Learning Opportunity Grant Fund (through Department of Education)
9. Mental Health Training Cash Fund (through Department of Education)
10. Nebraska Opportunity Grant Fund (through Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education)
