For Counties, Cities, and Villages: the "Inflation Percentage" applicable for 2026-2027 budgets is 5.26% (based on the percentage change in the State and Local Consumption Expenditures and Gross Investment Index for the twelve-month period ending December 31, 2025, as reported by March 31, 2026, by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis).
